SO YOU WANT TO STEAL SOME CHILDREN (Endgame Catchall)
Welcome to the container for your endgame! This will be the place where you can perform your polterheist (we really love that portmanteau), and where you'll be able to commentate on the final trial!
ICly, the whole heist will take place Monday, while the final trial watch will take place Thursday. For anything not related to endgame, please continue to use the main deadland post!

Without another word to you, she unlocks the administration center and strolls on in. Whether the door is open or not, you'll find you can walk right through it. She glances back to where she thinks you may be, and then her eyes flick towards a door on the far side of the room. With a small, almost imperceptible nod, she continues on, away from that door and further into the administration center itself.
The message should be clear: She's going to distract the Interim Headmistress and the Witch, while you get through that basement door.
It's locked, but that isn't really a problem for you, is it?
Here you'll find yourselves in the basement. You know your task. Now you just have to explore and accomplish it. ]
[ ooc: Welcome to the heist portion! The key to the map is as follows:
- The southernmost part of the map is where you enter.
- Rooms with openings mean they are unlocked. Rooms without openings are locked.
- Green spaces are ghost detecting equipment. Rinne will be your guide to this. On the way over, she's explained about various things, but the ones that will come up are REM Pods which detect your movement if you get close and Boo Buddies, little teddy bears that periodically speak to you.
We're going full Buzzfeed Unsolved/Ghost Files hereYou want to stay out of these areas, and if you hear a Boo Buddy speak, you want to not respond.- Blue spaces are thermal cameras. You will also want to stay out of these areas or find some way to disable them. Please note, you will have to conserve your ghostly abilities, so choose wisely if you would like to go this route!

Hi, I'm Boo Buddy! What's your name?
[ ...That aside, you've found a room with boxes of various decorations, sorted by season. Plastic bats and cobwebs for Halloween, somewhat gaudy turkeys for Thanksgiving, etc. The spot for Christmas decorations, predictably, is empty. ]

Is there a path between the first left-hand room and the middle left-hand room behind it? ]

She can only assume that trying to ghost-cheat her way through here won't work, but who will know unless she tests it? She can walk through walls and closed doors, but is there anything stopping her from just clipping through the floor plan?
She's testing it with her hand where there clearly isn't an immediately adjacent room. Is it solid? Does she feel herself go through but losing energy?
Look, she doesn't expect it to work, but she has to test it first.]

As expected, Dorothy's hand does go through the wall...but she'll find herself losing energy. It seems like it's harder to manifest as a ghost if there's not a physical space to be in. ]

With that curiosity satisfied, she follows along the safe paths in the others' footsteps, through the rooms on the left.
School and general supplies storage seems like nothing, but there isn't anything of note or out of place among the holiday supplies in the middle-left room, is there? Hopefully not anywhere near the REM pod blocking the hallway?]

However, as Dorothy examines around the boxes of Halloween decorations, something moves out of the corner of her eye. ]
