Welcome to the container for your endgame! This will be the place where you can perform your polterheist (we really love that portmanteau), and where you'll be able to commentate on the final trial!

ICly, the whole heist will take place Monday, while the final trial watch will take place Thursday. For anything not related to endgame, please continue to use the main deadland post!

[ The ghost hunting equipment in this room is a Boo Buddy! Cute little teddy bear. In fact, as you enter, it sounds off: ]

Hi, I'm Boo Buddy! What's your name?

[ ...That aside, you've found a room with boxes of various decorations, sorted by season. Plastic bats and cobwebs for Halloween, somewhat gaudy turkeys for Thanksgiving, etc. The spot for Christmas decorations, predictably, is empty. ]

[ Yeah, Chris isn't responding to that at all. She moves through the room carefully, making sure not to make any sound whatsoever, weaving through the rows of directions.

What's in the connecting room? And can she stay out of the range of the thermal camera? ]

[ Boo Buddy remains woefully unanswered. F.

Chris will find the top left room full of chairs and folding tables, and a portable podium. This room is for graduation ceremony supplies. As long as she doesn't venture into the northwestern most corner of the room, she can get through undetected.

Now, back into the main hall? That may be a little trickier. ]

[ Before she leaves, is there anything to be found in here? Like, a reason why they would put a thermal camera in the corner of the room?

[ To your knowledge, no. The podium is tucked away in that corner, but that's the only thing of note. ]

[ ...Chris is still suspicious. She's going to try and look for anything that might be providing power to or connecting to the camera. ]

[facultwist]

[ The camera looks to be wireless. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like you can turn it off traditionally unless you get up close. ]

[ She looks around...how much power would she expend to pick up and throw a chair at it?

[facultwist]

[ If she tries to do this all on her own, it will wipe her out. However, if she teams up with someone... Well, that's another story. ]

[Hi Chris, it's Kana. Noting what she seems to be considering, Kana cocks her head towards the chair. She doesn't want to risk being picked up by a boo buddy, so she's sticking with non-verbal communication for now.]

[ Chris spots Kana, and nods. She points to the chair, and walks over to it, motioning for her to follow. She grabs one side, and waits for Kana to come over and grab the other before lifting it up. ]

[bellpepperexercise]

[Heck yeah. Kana grabs the other side of the chair, ready to chuck it at the camera.

Wait, on three or after three??]

[ After three! Chris counts down by mouthing it silently.

And they let it fly...! ]

[bellpepperexercise]

[Kana throws as hard as her 4'11" ghost arms can manage. Fuck you camera!]

[ The chair soars through the air and collides with the camera! It also knocks into that podium, but it's okay, that thing's sturdy, it doesn't knock it over.

The camera on the other hand falls from where it's mounted and crashes to the floor.

You've taken out a thermal camera. Congratulations! ]

[ Chris wordlessly gives Kana a high five, before hurrying over to check out the podium as well as the corner itself for anything of interest. ]

[ The podium itself is pretty sturdy! Has to be, if it's been used over and over. Inside it, Chris will find some old sparklers that look like they might still work! ]

[ Chris finds the sparklers, and holds them up for Kana to see. Item get? ]

[--! Kana nods at the sparklers, and goes towards Chris to check them out.

She clasps and reopens her hands in a 'fwoosh!' motion to represent the heat of the sparkler, then points towards the camera in the hall blocking them.

If it's searching for temperature drops, they need to balance with heat, right?]

[Hey everyone, sorry, impassable teddy bear means it's Vanity Time (waaah).]

[Just. Looking questioningly between the broken camera and the sparklers. Really?]

[bellpepperexercise]

[Kana lifts up her arms and gives a little shrug as if to say "well, do you have a better idea?"]

[ Chris barely acknowledges Vanity. She nods to Kana, and gets to work. She selects some paper Thanksgiving decorations for sacrifice because it's a horrible colonialist holiday anyway and eventually fashions a crude torch, setting it ablaze with the sparklers before passing it to Kana.

Motioning to Vanity finally, she then moves to get ready to pass through the door and into the outside, past the thermal camera, staying close to Kana. ]

Okay though how sure are we this isn't also going to set off the camera-

[And yet she follows.]

[ You stick close to Kana, carrying the improvised torch, and......

No lights go on. No alarms sound.
