SO YOU WANT TO STEAL SOME CHILDREN (Endgame Catchall)
Welcome to the container for your endgame! This will be the place where you can perform your polterheist (we really love that portmanteau), and where you'll be able to commentate on the final trial!
ICly, the whole heist will take place Monday, while the final trial watch will take place Thursday. For anything not related to endgame, please continue to use the main deadland post!

She can only assume that trying to ghost-cheat her way through here won't work, but who will know unless she tests it? She can walk through walls and closed doors, but is there anything stopping her from just clipping through the floor plan?
She's testing it with her hand where there clearly isn't an immediately adjacent room. Is it solid? Does she feel herself go through but losing energy?
Look, she doesn't expect it to work, but she has to test it first.]

As expected, Dorothy's hand does go through the wall...but she'll find herself losing energy. It seems like it's harder to manifest as a ghost if there's not a physical space to be in. ]

With that curiosity satisfied, she follows along the safe paths in the others' footsteps, through the rooms on the left.
School and general supplies storage seems like nothing, but there isn't anything of note or out of place among the holiday supplies in the middle-left room, is there? Hopefully not anywhere near the REM pod blocking the hallway?]

However, as Dorothy examines around the boxes of Halloween decorations, something moves out of the corner of her eye. ]

is a plastic black cat, swiping a mechanical paw in the air. A cartoonish screech sounds, but like...the kind where the batteries on this electrical device are definitely going, so it's more like a slow, mechanical groan.
You just got cat scared, Dorothy. ]

Eyes wide, she looks around to make sure she hasn't triggered anything. And that nobody else saw that, but more importantly the other thing for investigation purposes. If there's nothing actually useful nearby, she'll move to follow and observe the others.]

There is, to confirm, nothing particularly useful to find in here. ]
